COLUMBIA CITY — For Peyton Manning fans, the best part of Sunday night’s Super Bowl was most likely the halftime show — brought to you in part by four Whitley County residents.

There were more than 400 people involved in the production of the halftime show, including Shane Barkley, Keith Gilbert, Kaileb O’Connor and Ashley O’Connor, all of Columbia City.

Gilbert and Barkley have been assisting in the Super Bowl’s halftime show for the last three years. Kaileb and Ashley O’Connor, brother and sister, experienced the trip for the first time.
