Harmon headed to Trine for football

Whitko High School senior Dakota Harmon signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Trine University. Harmon was a two-way starter who helped his team to an 8-2 record in 2010. Harmon was voted most valuable defensive back,, was second-team All-TRC running back and recipient of the Ryan Huff Memorial Award. Harmon rushed for 653 yards on 145 carries with seven touchdowns and also had 76 tackles and four sacks from his linebacker position. Harmon was joined at his signing by his mother Christine Harmon, sitting right, father Chuck Harmon, back right, and Whitko football coach Wayne Swender, back left.
