H. Marie Howard, 83

H. Marie Howard, 83, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 at 10 PM in Good Shepherd Hospice House, Sebring, Fla.
She was born Jan. 22, 1928 in Salyersville, Ky. to Kindle and Susie (Brown) England.
On Sept. 1, 1942 she was married to Hargus Howard.
Together they lived most of their lives in Silver Lake, where both were members of Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God, Silver Lake. Hattie, a homemaker, also worked on the assembly line for DANA Corp.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Cindy Howard of Warsaw; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carolyn and Henry Lister of Sebring, Bonnie Lou and Jim Mettler of Brandon, Fla. and Mary Trout of Sebring.
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and her sister, Jean Wireman of Salyersville, Ky.
Hattie was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Hargus (Jan. 5, 2011); son, Woodrow Howard; parents, Kindle and Susie England; five brothers, George England, Dave England, Homer England, Woodrow England and Kellie England.
Family and friends will gather to share memories Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw and one hour prior to Monday’s service.
A service celebrating the life of Hattie Howard will take place Mondayat 10:30 a.m. in Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church, Silver Lake.
Pastor Frank Whitaker of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
The family has asked that gifts in memory of Hattie be given to Diabetes Foundation, Inc., 13 Sunflower Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652 or online at www.diabetesinnj.org.
