HAVE A HEART: Plan to give the gift of life in February – blood drives scheduled

COLUMBIA CITY – Every day, hospital patients depend on steady and consistent blood donations from volunteer donors for the blood they may need for ongoing and emergency medical care.
And with February being American Heart Month, it’s a great time to put your heart into a worthwhile cause: helping to build the nation’s blood supply through your American Red Cross.

Upcoming local
blood drives include:

•Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 7:30 a.m. until noon at Northeastern REMC in the Conference Room, located at 4901 East Park 30 Drive in Columbia City. Please call 625-3700, ext. 412 to schedule your blood donation appointment.

•Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 12:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the South Whitley United Methodist Church, located at 6685 W. SR 14 in South Whitley.
