June 17, 2014

Columbia City High School stand-out hoopster and incoming junior Brachen Hazen shoots from the top of the key during Nike Elite 100 camp at the University of St. Louis.

Columbia City High School stand-out hoopster and incoming junior Brachen Hazen recently returned from the invitation-only Nike Elite 100 Camp on the campus of the University of St. Louis, which, according to the camp invitation, “Is the nation’s premier basketball event for elite high school freshman and sophomore basketball players.”

The 6-foot-7 Hazen’s selection as a participant in this prestigious event was an exciting and much-appreciated affirmation of the nods and interest he has been receiving lately from programs such as Indiana University, Butler University, Purdue University, Dayton, Xavier, Central Michigan and others.
