Helen Wolfe, 92

Helen Marie Wolfe, 92, of Larwill, died at 7:26 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Columbia City, where she had been a resident since November 2012.
She was born May 5, 1920, in Whitley County, a daughter of Andrew and Mary Kathryne (Beaucha) Gebert. She completed her education at Larwill High School.
In July 1957, she married Willis D. Wolfe. They made their home in Larwill. Mr. Wolfe died Nov. 11, 1985.
She retired from Weatherhead, Columbia City with 38 years of service.
Surviving relatives include three children, Barbara (William) Shepherd of Leesburg, Mary Lou Loe of Columbia City and Robert Wolfe of Park Falls, Wisc.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 13 great- great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Clem; two sisters, Hildreth Mae Bower and June Branning; a brother, Paul Gebert and a great-great-granddaughter.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. The burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
