COLUMBIA CITY— A staple downtown Columbia City business came away from a professional conference with a big prize.

Sharon Hinen, of Hinen Printing, won a 2013, 1200 48 Harley Davidson Sportster at a conference in Orlando held by SP Richards.

SP Richards is an office-supply company that holds these events every year. Hinen Printing typically sends employees, but Sharon attending was somewhat unusual.

“Jeff and Cindy (Hinen) normally go,” Sharon said. “They couldn’t go, and I won the motorcycle.”

Employees of Hinen Printing have won prizes before, but nothing at this level.

“Cindy has won money,” Sharon said. “I won a shopping spree once, but nothing this big.”

Jon Roemke, a representative with SP Richards, was pleased that the Hinens won.
