COLUMBIA CITY — Santa is comin’ to town Friday.

With lights, floats and music, a parade will usher Santa into downtown Columbia City to his house, which is set up on the northwest corner of the Whitley County Courthouse lawn.

The little red house has been a staple holiday sight for decades, according to Jill Winebrenner, who has been a long-time coordinator of Santa’s House.

Beginning Friday night and on through Christmas Eve, children can visit Saint Nick at his home and have their photos taken with the holiday figure.
