COLUMBIA CITY — Janet Hinen, a teacher at Little Turtle Elementary School, has worked with fellow faculty members to organize a special carnival — a fundraiser for cancer research and patient support.
In April of 2013, Hinen was diagnosed with breast cancer. In May, she underwent surgery in addition to chemotherapy treatments.
