Injunction prevents Smith-Green from enforcing policy

CHURUBUSCO — A permanent injunction was placed on Smith-Green Community Schools Monday that prohibits it from punishing students under what he called a vague provision of its student handbook that bans dishonorable behavior.
On Monday, Philip P. Simon, chief judge of the United States District Court, put the injunction in the case of T.V. and M.K. versus SGCS and Austin Couch, principal of Churubusco High School.
