ISMS volleyball grabs first win, downs ’Busco

COLUMBIA CITY — Indian Springs Middle School’s Eighth-grade Lady Stars volleyball team picked up its first win Wednesday night, topping county rival Churubusco Middle School in two games.

The Lady Stars won the first game 25-22 and the second 25-23.

For ISMS, Jayma Acres had two kills. Madison Cook, Emilee Smith and Sarah Frankle each added a kill.

In their season opener, the Lady Stars fell to Lakeview Middle School Tuesday night.

ISMS came out strong in game one, winning 25-22.
