ISMS wrestling wins 14th straight meet

COLUMBIA CITY — Indian Springs Middle School’s wrestling team faced a competitive Maple Creek team for a conference showdown Wednesday night.

The match came down to the last wrestlers of the night. ISMS 7th grader Weston Ottinger was able to seal the win for Indian Springs with a pin to make the score 39-35.

“The win was a total team effort,” ISMS coach Brian Bills said.
Indian Springs improved its record to 14-0.

Jacob Wigent got the first victory with a major decision.

Dylan McClure and Drew Rethlake kept the winning streak going with victories by decision.
