James Chaney, 55

James Wayne Chaney, 53, of Harris Brake, Ark., passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010. He was born Dec. 7, 1956, in Goshen. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and friend to all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Bernadine “Dee” Nicholas Chaney of Harris Brake; sons, James Chaney, Jr. (April) of Harris Brake, Jesse Chaney (Stephanie) of Russellville, Ark.; daughter, Jodi Croft of Russellville; father and stepmother, James Edward Chaney (Ruth) of Goshen; mother and stepfather, Carrie V. “Herren” Porter and Larry Porter of Perryville, Ark.; brothers, Dewey Andrews (Cathy) of Perryville, Warren Andrews (Valerie) of Mayflower, Ark.; sisters, Donna Tracy (Eric) of Perryville, Terry Bowser (Ron) of Bigelow, Ark.; grandchildren, Haley, Blake, Austin and Jeffery. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Perry County Fairgrounds Multi Purpose Building with Bro. Clayton Phipps officiating.
