Jason Warren Tester, 36, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at his home. Born Aug. 13, 1974 in Columbia City, he was a son of Randy Dow and Deborah Sue (Bender) Tester.
He lived in Allen and Whitley Counties, graduating from Homestead High School with the Class of 1994. An avid cook, he worked at several local restaurants. In his spare time, he loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his father, Randy Dow (Sara) Tester of Fort Wayne; brother, Jeremy D. Tester, sister, Jessica Y. Tester, stepbrother, Brad M. Pfeiffer and stepsister, Tisha E. (Scott) Richmond, all of Columbia City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Sue Tester and grandparents, William and Yvonne Tester, Richard and Winnie Mallott.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Blanchard officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
