A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for Java Mama Café, located at 5916 Covington Rd. in the former Ream Steckbeck building in Fort Wayne. Java Mama is a kid-friendly café designed especially for parents, caregivers and children alike. Owner, Kim Haweit, is the daughter of Whitley County business owners Ron and Karen Starost of Stars Chimney Service. Java Mama Café’s Grand Opening was Saturday.
