Jeanette Castle, 80

Jeanette E. Castle, 80, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at her residence.
Born Feb. 2, 1931, in Monroeville, she retired in 2001 from Marshall Fields, formerly Hudson’s, as a sales lady, after 20 years.
She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Surviving are her son, Douglas (Jane) Balser of North Port, Fla.; daughter, Julie (Robert) Schneider of Columbia City; grandchildren, Joseph and Jene’e Schneider, Justin (Tammy) Balser, Jeffrey Balser and Janelle (Chris) Tzanetakos; sister, Mary Ann Walker of Fort Wayne; and dear friend, Ursula Gard of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Wayne Nicholls and Robert Castle; parents, Elmer and Cecilia Oberley; sisters, Mabelle Feasby, Marcella Felger, Doris Sephel, Phyllis Alberding and Carol Mills; brothers, Donald, Gerald, Harold, Richard and Elmer Oberley.
Mass of Christian burial is 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at St. Jude Catholic Church, corner of State and Randallia, with visitation one hour prior.
Rev. Father Thomas Shoemaker officiating.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road.
Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to Parkview Home Health & Hospice or St. Jude Ministry for Shut-Ins.
