Jeremiah James Setser, 20, passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011 at 12:58 a.m. as the result of an automobile accident in Whitley County.
He was born March 30, 1991 in Columbia City.
The son of Darvin D. and Mary (Hite) Setser, he was a 2009 graduate of Whitko High School.
Jeremiah enjoyed life in general, but he especially enjoyed being an active participant in truck pulls, working on trucks and when younger, horseback riding.
He had a good sense of humor. Jeremiah was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his parents, Darvin and Mary Setser, Warsaw; two brothers, Darvin E. Setser and his fiancĂ©e, Ashley McCleary of Warsaw and Josh Kirby of Rochester; three step sisters, Samantha Johnson of Knoxville, Tenn., Ricki Creamer, Warsaw and Erica Duncan of North Manchester; mother, Laurie â€śMooreâ€ť Fuentes, Warsaw; grandparents, Phyllis Rider, Pierceton, Margaret Setser of Raven, Ky. and Paul and Anna Blair of Warsaw as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Darvin Setser on Oct. 4, 2007 and his great-grandmother, Ruth Mahoney July 29, 2008.
Family and friends will gather at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. to share memories and lend support in their loss.
The life of Jeremiah James Setser will be celebrated on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Pastor Terry Bradford of First Freewill Baptist of Kosciusko County, Claypool, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
