Jerry Lee Badskey, 74, of North Webster and North Manchester, died at 8:05 a.m. on Friday, April, 13, 2012, at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester.
He was born on March 30, 1938, in Huntington to Lorin Justin and Ruby Marie (Lepley) Badskey.
He served in the Air National Guard of Indiana and the Reserve of the U.S. Air Force during the Berlin Crisis.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Badskey of North Webster; three sons, Steven Lee Badskey of Montgomery, Ala., Kent Lee Badskey of Pierceton, Scott Lee Badskey of Barrington, Ill.; five grandchildren; sister, Janet Allen of North Webster and an aunt, Elizabeth Ayres.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 and C.R. 500 N., North Webster.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at North Webster United Methodist Church, 7822 E. Epworth Forest Road, North Webster with Pastor David Smitley officiating.
Burial will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley St., North Manchester, IN with Rev. J.P. Freeman officiating.
Military services will be conducted by American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
