SOUTH WHITLEY — Jimmy “Jim” Ross Brown, 75, formerly of rural Pierceton died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011 at Parkview Main Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born May 11, 1936 in Kendallville, a son of Ernest and Virgina (Speaker) Brown.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Annie Mae North of Claypool; three sons, Everett Lester, Claypool, Cheyenne Brown, Derby, Kan. and Dennis Brown, Warsaw; 7 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley with Pastor Chad Burkhart of Victory Christian Center officiating.
The burial in the Booneville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
