SOUTH WHITLEY — Sugar Creek Fellowship has just recently added Jacob Johnson onto its staff as part-time youth pastor.

He will be leading the teenagers as they learn to develop and grow in a relationship with Christ.

He is a sophomore at Huntington University with a double major in youth ministry and sports ministry.

Johnson attended Columbia City High School where he participated in football, basketball and baseball.

Johnson will be planning some youth events, as well as leading the youth in their meetings Sunday nights.

Friday, Nov. 22, will be the Annual Teen Explosion at the YMCA. Former Youth for Christ Director Brad Boyles will be the special speaker. There are many activities planned for this night, along with a worship service and pizza. Those who would be interested in attending this all-nighter at the YMCA can find a liability release form at the church, or should call 248-2030 to have one mailed.
