Johnson wins ’Busco’s GOP nod

CHURUBUSCO — Geri Johnson will represent the Republican party for the position of clerk-treasurer in Churubusco following a town convention held this week.
Johnson, the incumbent, defeated fellow Republican Melissa Tigner 19-10 in the caucus to advance to the November election where she will face Democrat challenger Madalyn Sade-Bartl.
