Joseph Fulk, 91

Joseph M. Fulk, 91, a former resident of Churubusco, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011, at the home of his son in New Haven.
Mr. Fulk was born May 11, 1919 in Mattoon, Ill., a son of Joseph William and Lilly Leota (Johnson) Fulk.
He served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Genevieve Louise Thompson who preceded him in death.
The surviving relatives include his children, Marleen Green, Judy Helfrich and David M. Fulk; and a sister, Violet Louise Heath.
Military graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Eel River Cemetery, south of Churubusco. Rev. Edward A. Thompson, pastor of Good News Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow.
At the request of the family there will be no calling hours.
