Kacy Lynn Trick Meyer, 42, of rural South Whitley, died July 28, 2012, at Memorial Hospital, in Savannah, Ga.
She was born Jan. 10, 1970 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. to Fred Trick Jr. and Kathy (Holmes) Trick.
Mrs. Meyer was a 1988 graduate of Manchester High School, and attended the University of Alabama.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Columbia City and the South Whitley Elementary School P.T.O.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and attending her childrenâ€™s baseball and softball games. She especially loved her children, nieces, and nephews.
Surviving relatives include her two children, Mason T. Meyer and Makenzy T. Meyer and her husband, Matthew T. Meyer, all of rural South Whitley; father and step mother, Fred (Dorinda) Trick of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; mother, Kathy Trick of North Manchester; sister, Tricia (Matt) Trick-Eckert of Indianapolis; seven nieces and nephews, Brody and Kael Eckert, both of Indianapolis, Shelby, Riley, and Nick Meyer, all of West Lafayette, and Madyson and Emma Ulrey, both of North Manchester and several aunts and uncles.
The funeral services will be at Grace Lutheran Church, 200 N. Main St., Columbia City on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Joyce Gerwing officiating. The burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main St., North Manchester.
