Karla K. Coyle-Kammeyer, age 45, of Fort Wayne passed away at 10 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
Born Nov. 16, 1964 in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Kay L. and Yvonne â€śBonnieâ€ť (Newsome) Coyle.
Raised in Columbia City, she graduated with the Class of 1983 from Columbia City High School. For the past 20 years, she resided in Fort Wayne. She was formerly employed by Casual Corner, Bettyâ€™s Smart Shop, owned and operated The Smart Shop from 1990 - 1996, Casual Male Big & Tall in Fort Wayne from 2000 - 2007. She was currently employed by Fort Financial Credit Union, Fort Wayne.
Survivors include her parents, Kay and Bonnie Coyle of Columbia City; fiancee, Mark Harris of Fort Wayne; stepson, Ian Harris of Fort Wayne; nephews, Jason and Jeremy Shoda both of Columbia City; and four great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Sharon Shoda.
Visitation is 1 to 3 p.m. with funeral service at 4 p.m. on Sunday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Sharon Brockhaus, certified funeral celebrant will officiate. Entombment at South Park Annex Cemetery, Columbia City.
