Keith R. Bower, 54

Keith R. Bower, 54, passed away unexpectedly at 7:56 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 in Warsaw while working. Born in Kosciusko County Feb. 24, 1956, he was a son of Lawrence and Mary (Walters) Bower.

He graduated from Warsaw High School with the Class of 1974. Since 1975, he has been employed by R.R. Donnelley & Sons, Warsaw, and he recently began work at Wal-Mart in Columbia City. He married Candy L. Gamble April 27, 1991 at Columbia City United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Candy L. Bower of Columbia City; daughter, Libby D. Bower at home; brother, Chuck (Karen) Bower of Goshen; and father-in-law, Verlin Gamble of Huntington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Penny Bower and mother-in-law, Delores Gamble.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jean Ness of Columbia City United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
