Kerry Wolfe, 62

COLUMBIA CITY — Kerry L. “Skip” Wolfe, 62, a lifelong resident of Columbia Township, Whitley County, died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne where he was admitted the day before.
He was born Sept. 15, 1948, in Whitley County, a son of Kenneth M. and Marianne (Waters) Wolfe. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School.
On March 31, 1972 he was united in marriage to Rebecca S. Trimmer.
He was employed as a mechanic.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Becky; three children, Kimberly Wolfe of Fort Wayne, Troy (Susan) Wolfe of South Whitley and Sara Wolfe Timms of Columbia City; four grandsons, Trey Wolfe, Kyle Wolfe, Brandon Timms and Noah Timms; and two brothers, Kelly Wolfe of Columbia City and Kevin Wolfe of Urbana.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wolfe.
The funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
The burial will be in Eberhard Cemetery.
