SOUTH WHITLEY â€” The Lady Wildcat basketball team not only battled West Noble Thursday night, but fought sickness and injury to pull out a 49-35 win over the Lady Chargers.

Head Coach Brandon Bradley said several players were sick and senior Katee Reiff was out with a knee injury, posing more of a challenge than their opponents.
â€śTo be able to play the way they did tonight and not use it as a crutch shows how tough they are,â€ť Bradley said.
Bradley had to rely on strong play from the bench with Whitkoâ€™s main guartds, Cagney Craig and Micaela Sylvester, limited on playing time.
â€śWe had 11 players on the bench and we needed them all tonight,â€ť Bradley said. â€śOur bench has been very steady. Itâ€™s nice to be able to put them in the game and not have to panic.â€ť
