Lady ’Cats win season-opener, 63-33

November 9, 2011

ALBION — The Lady Wildcats girls basketball team opened its season with a decisive 63-33 win over Central Noble in Albion.
Though, as Head Coach Brandon Bradley said, the first game doesn’t necessarily portray how the season will go, Whitko’s girls had a lot to offer their fans Tuesday night.
Whether it was senior Karissa Olinske’s four three-pointers and 21 points for the game, the 19 Whitko steals or the Wildcats’ two sophomore centers, Bailee Juillerat and Jordan Hull — who combined for 16 points in their varsity debuts — one thing is for sure, Whitko came into its first game ready to play.
