Lady Eagles fade into 59-52 loss to Carroll

December 3, 2012

COLUMBIA CITY — One of the most difficult things to determine in sports is why a team goes away from what has been successful.

The Columbia City Lady Eagle basketball team used an aggressive full-court offense that helped them build double-digit leads against the visiting Carroll Lady Chargers in Saturday’s first half.

Poor free-throw shooting and lack of a consistent offense against Carroll’s pressure allowed the Lady Chargers to escape with a 59-52 Northeast Hoosier Conference win.
