COLUMBIA CITY — The Columbia City Lady Eagles volleyball team came into Thursday’s Northeast Hoosier Conference match with the visiting New Haven Lady Bulldogs looking to run the table of this week’s matches.
After downing Blackhawk Christian Monday and NHC opponent Norwell Tuesday, the Columbia City was prepared to improve to 3-0 in the conference.
The Lady Eagles fought through an inconsistent effort to come from behind in the fifth and final game in a 3-2 marathon win over the Bulldogs, remaining unbeaten in conference play.
