WINONA LAKE — With the girls golf sectional scheduled for Saturday at Stonehenge Golf and Country Club near in Winona Lake, the Whitko Lady Wildcat’s and Warsaw played a match Tuesday afternoon on the same course.

The Lady Tigers shot a 164 to defeat Whitko, who carded a 236.

Whitko Girls Golf Head Coach Bryan Sprunger said, “This was a good opportunity to become a little more familiar with the course here at Stonehenge before the sectional on Saturday.”

For the season after the dual meet with Warsaw, Whitko now has a dual record of 7-15, according to Sprunger.

“We are improving and in the last three or four matches we have lowered are scores at a pretty good clip,” he said.
