LARWILL MAN BATTERS SECURITY GUARD: Sponable faces four charges in Noble County

KENDALLVILLE — A Larwill man was arrested Saturday night after an altercation with a hospital security guard and nurses in Kendallville.

Scott A. Sponable, 66, was admitted to Parkview Noble Hospital for “extreme intoxication,” according to a press release Sunday morning by Indiana State Police Public Information Sergeant Ron Galaviz.

Sponable’s blood alcohol content was .27, more than three times the legal driving limit (.08).

He allegedly punched a 58-year-old security guard in the face.
