LED BY LANE: Lady Eagle golf struggles through invite

Columbia City’s Macenzie Lane led the Lady Eagle golf team with a 90 in 18 holes at the Wawasee Invitational Saturday. The Lady Eagles placed fourth out of nine teams at South Shore Golf Course.

SYRACUSE — After a 100-stroke victory Thursday, Columbia City’s girls golf team struggled through the Wawasee Invitational Saturday morning. Though placing fourth, the Lady Eagles’ individual and overall scores were much higher than Thursday’s 181 in 9 holes.
