Whitko defeats Wawasee

SYRACUSE — Whitko’s volleyball team earned a tough five-set win against Wawasee Tuesday.

The Lady Wildcats beat the Lady Warriors 19-25, 25-22, 18-25, 25-23 and 15-8.

Garrett beats Col. City soccer

GARRETT — Columbia City’s boys soccer team fell to Garrett Wednesday.

The Railroaders beat the Eagles by a final score of 3-0.

It was one goal in the first half and two in the second to bring the game to the final margin for the Railroaders.

Wildcats netters beat Panthers

LAGRANGE — In a final tune-up before sectionals, Whitko’s boys tennis team beat Prairie Heights Tuesday.

The Wildcats beat the Panthers 3-2.

Cole Bechtold got a win in No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-1, and Bailey Platt won No. 2 singles 6-1, 7-5.
