Locals prep for All-Star game

FORT WAYNE — The 20th Annual Nancy Rehm/Border Wars Classic All-Star Games will be Saturday at the University of Saint Francis’ Hutzell Center.

Columbia City Head Coach Chris Benedict will be coaching the boys team, which has Whitko stand-out Logan Irwin and Churubusco’s Tyler Arrowsmith on the roster.

The girls game begins at 5 p.m. and the boys at 7 p.m.

Also included are 3-point shooting contests for the girls and boys and a slam-dunk contest for the boys.

The Nancy Rehm/Border Wars Classic is a high school all-star basketball game featuring standouts from northeastern Indiana and northwestern Ohio.
