Louise Ostler, 93

Martha Louise Ostler, 93, of Frankfort, died at 10:10 p.m. July 9, 2012, at Wesley Manor Health and Retirement Center.
Born at home north of Frankfort on Union Road, April 19, 1919, she was the daughter of Herman and Lena Beatrice (Culbertson) Johnson.
She married Aaron Jesse Ostler on Aug. 1, 1940, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1996.
Mrs. Ostler was a 1937 graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Clinton County resident. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She was a member of the Kilmore United Methodist Church since 1942, Kilmore United Methodist Women and was active in the church music program. She was also a member of the Union Township Extension Homemakers and secretary and treasurer for the Kilmore Cemetery Association for more than 30 years. Mrs. Ostler loved her family.
Surviving relatives include one son, Jerry Lee (Patty) Ostler of Frankfort; two daughters, Jerilyn S. (Junior) Geiger of Columbia City and Janilyn L. (Jim) Need of Frankfort; one brother, Carroll Johnson of Frankfort; one sister, Eunice Kreisher of Frankfort; nine grandchildren, Angie Rohrabaugh, Alan (Joanne) Ostler, Amanda (Steve) Dillon, Joseph (Jeanette) Jordan, Bradley (Renae) Jordan, Randall (Jodie) Jordan, Kevin (Jill) Jordan, Jeff (Lori) Need and Julia (Todd) Hadinger and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, at the Kilmore United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home and a half hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Kilmore Cemetery.
