Madeline Bordine, 86

Madeline Mary Bordine, 86, a resident of Miller’s Merry Manor in Columbia City, died at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010. She was born May 5, 1924 in Detroit, Mich., a daughter of the late Paul William and Celia (Kowalski) Bloom. She was married to Max Zaler, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Zaler and a daughter, Barbara Meyer; a brother, David Bloom; and a sister, Rita Ramage.
Honoring Madeline’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
Entombment will be at a later date in the Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park Cemetery in Lavonia, Michigan.
The arrangements have been entrusted to the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco.
