Man accused of decade-old probation violation

COLUMBIA CITY – A New Haven man is accused of having violated probation more than a decade ago in Whitley County.

James Heinzman, 37, was arrested in December in New Haven.

He was originally arrested in Whitley County in 1996. At that time, he was sentenced to the Indiana Department of Corrections for 10 years, with six to serve, for dealing a Schedule I controlled substance.
