Many hands make celebration possible

November 30, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — For two evenings, the Whitley County Courthouse lawn will play stage to a live and narrated Nativity.

Whitley County’s Community Christmas Celebration will be Dec. 6 and 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free.

“This is a great kick-off to the holidays,” said event coordinator Peg McCarthy. “The bustle around the Courthouse livens the downtown square, and starts the season with a remembrance of what Christmas is really all about.”
