Margaret M. Moeller, 83, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, March 2, 2012, at Kingston Residence in Fort Wayne.
Born March 4, 1928, in Payne, Ohio, she graduated from Payne High School in 1947.
Margaret formerly worked at General Electric and was a waitress and cook at the Green Frog.
She also worked at Magnavox for 16 years, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and St. Paulâ€™s Catholic Church of Columbia City.
She loved to spend time with her family and was a down-to-earth and honest woman.
She loved to fish, play cards, mushroom hunt and drive her golf cart.
Surviving are sons, Joseph T. (Nancy) Moeller, Thomas M. Moeller Jr. and Mark A. (Patty) Moeller, all of Fort Wayne, William J. Moeller of Albion; daughters, Anna M. (Garry) Marquardt of Fort Wayne and Mary M. (Kevin) McGee of Albion; brothers, Vitus Koch of Auburn and Benjamin Koch of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; Wilhelm H. and Mary Koch; her loving husband of 48 years, Thomas Moeller; brothers, Carl, Daniel, Rudy, John, and Justus; sisters, Hedwig Moeller and Catherine Koch, two grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m., Thursday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior, with Fr. Joseph Gaughan officiating.
Calling is at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with the Rosary at 6:30 p.m.
Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
Memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice or Heart Association.
