Marge Phillips, 56

Marge Ann (Lagoe) Phillips, 56, of South Whitley, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2011, in Fort Wayne, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Dec. 29, 1954, in Herkimer, N.Y., she was the daughter of Richard and Patricia Lagoe of Sherburne, N.Y.
She was a homemaker and artist. She loved art, music, country life, her family and cats.
Marge was an intelligent, creative, sensitive person who brought living color to the gray world around her.
Survivors are her husband, Henry Charles Phillips; sons, Ryan Richard (Cheryl) Phillips of Waukee, Iowa and Nathaniel Henry Phillips of Des Moines, Iowa; siblings, Matthew Lagoe and Michele (Miki) Lagoe, both of Sherburne, Mary (Robinson) Lagoe of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. and Margaret (Meg ) Lagoe of Oswego , N.Y.; and two grandchildren, Caitlin and Charles “Charlie” Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Martin Lagoe.
There will be no service or visitation.
