Marguerite Hill, 98, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Feb. 18, 2011 at Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield. She was born Oct. 5, 1912 in Norwalk, Ohio to Howard and Valla (Evans) Tillson. She married Harry Hill April 10, 1955 in Angola, and he preceded her in death May 4, 1995.
She was a homemaker, and a 1931 graduate of Norwalk High School.
Marguerite is survived by her daughters Aleta McHenry of Punxsutawney, Pa., Barbara (Ronald) Mears-Begue of Columbia City, Louanna Delf of N.C.; nine grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry N. Hill; son, Wallace Hill; sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Springer and brother, Robert Tillson.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wonderly-Horvath-Hanes Funeral Home & Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, Ohio. Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with her grandson, Matt McHenry, officiating. Burial is at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
