Marjorie Chidester, 85

Marjorie J. “Marge” Chidester, formerly of Fort Wayne, and currently a resident of Sarasota, Fla., died Thursday, May 12, 2011. Born July 23, 1925, she was a daughter of Charles V. and Carrie E. (Gallogly) David and a widow of John Chidester.
Survivors include a son, Dean J. Chidester.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6700 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor John Gardner of Plymouth Congregational Church of Christ officiating.
Memorials in memory of Mrs. Chidester can be made to the Fort Wayne Animal Shelter or the ASPCA. Envelopes will be available at the service.
