COLUMBIA CITY — Marjorie M. Judd, 79, of Columbia City, passed away at 1:13 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.
Born March 15, 1932, in Noble County, she was the daughter of Chris H. and Dorothy B. (Ringler) Lehman.
She lived in Noble County until the age of nine, moving with her family to Whitley County where she attended Columbia City High School.
On July 16, 1949, she married Dale E. Judd in Columbia City.
A homemaker, she was a member of Oak Grove Church of God, and a past member of Columbia City Baptist Church where she arranged and provided altar flowers weekly for the Sunday worship service.
Survivors include her sons, David W. (Michelle “Mike”) and Daniel E. (Cindy) Judd, both of Columbia City; brothers, Harold (Mary Lou) Lehman and Kenneth (Elsie) Lehman, both of Columbia City; sisters, Dorothy Smith of Columbia City, Mary (Este) Martz of Ocala, Fla., Betty Anderson of Columbia City, Linda (Gary) Craig and Ruth Ann Trumbull both of Fort Wayne; three granddaughters, Teresa Bills, Andrea Sutton and Ericka Lambert; and four great-grandsons, Cole and Chase Bills, Treavor Sutton and Andrew Lambert.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dale E. Judd, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny D. Judd; brothers, Larry, Charles, Jack and Ralph Lehman; and one great-grandson, Zachary David Lambert.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
The funeral service will immediately follow calling at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating.
Burial at Oak Grove (Compton) Cemetery, Columbia City. Memorials may be given in memory of Mrs. Judd to Passages Inc., Columbia City.
