Marjorie Sheets, 65

Marjorie A. “Margie” Sheets, 65, of Leesburg, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at 1:07 a.m. in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.
Margie was born May 24, 1946, in Whitley County, to Garland M. and Evelyn Rachael (Cramer) Herron.
She had lived in Leesburg for 14 years from Columbia City.
Her last place of employment was with Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, Warsaw, where she was a caregiver for six years. Prior to that time she had been employed by Magnavox, Columbia City and Memcor, Inc., Huntington.
Margie was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church, Columbia City. She was a grandma who loved the Lord. She was always smiling and jolly, keeping her sense of humor until the end of her life. Instead of saying “hello” for her telephone greeting, she answered, “Praise the Lord.”
The nursing staff considered her a joy to care for.
Left behind is her mother, Evelyn Herron, Columbia City; two daughters and a son-in-law; Annette and Bruce Woodling of Wabash, and Kimberly Gibson, Columbia City; a son, David Sheets of Claypool; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marilyn and Phil Hively, Columbia City and Patricia Hull, Warsaw; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Argyle and Linda Herron, Pierceton, and Gale and Amy Herron, Columbia City; six grandchildren, Alizabeth Woodling, Samuel Woodling and Daniel Woodling, all of Wabash, Tasha and Tavo Bautista of Milford, Joshwa Gibson of Perham, Minn. and Gordon “Jason” Gibson, Perham; two great-grandchildren, Whitney and Ethan. Margie’s father, Garland M. Herron, preceded her in death.
Friends and family will gather for a time of sharing and supporting each other Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service celebrating her life will begin at 7 p.m.. A special friend of Margie’s, Pastor Marilyn Smith, of Marion, will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in South Park Cemetery, Columbia City.
