Mark Alan Runyan, 51, of Albion, passed away at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne at 10:40 a.m.
Born on October 18, 1960, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of James F. and Mary J. (Albert) Runyan.
He lived in Fort Wayne all of his life until 2004, when he moved to High Lake.
He graduated from Wayne High School with the class of 1980.
He was disabled for many years. He loved his cat Snowball, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include his parents, James F. and Mary J. Runyan of Albion; two brothers, Jay Howard (Rene) Runyan of Ossian and Thom R. Runyan of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two sisters, Vicki Lynn (Martin â€śJoeâ€ť) Fawley of Winamac and Judy Lee Runyan of Columbia City; maternal grandmother, Helen Potter of Columbia City; seven nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harley and Rose Runyan and James Albert.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City, with funeral service following at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
The burial will be at Thorn Cemetery. Memorials may be given in memory of Mr. Runyanâ€™s to the Runyan family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
