Martha Kessler, 77

Martha E. Kessler, 77, of Churubusco died at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Heritage Park Nursing Home, Fort Wayne. Born May 19, 1933 in Noble County, she was a daughter of Ernest and Evelyn (Stewart) Graves.
She attended school in Wolf Lake. On July 4, 1953 she married Robert Lee Kessler in Churubusco. She was a homemaker and mother, raising their two daughters.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Iholts of Columbia City and Pamela Born of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Henry and Shawn Born of Fort Wayne and Josh (Jennifer) Born of Columbia City; and a brother, Junior (Geraldine) Graves of South Whitley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Kessler in August of 2002; brother, Earl Graves; and an infant twin sister, Mary Lou Graves.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor John Cummings of Community Bible Church officiating. Burial will be private.
