Martha White, 66

Martha A. “Marty” White, 66, of South Whitley, passed away, Wednesday, July 10, 2013. She was born Aug. 2, 1946, in Fort Wayne to the late, Rudolph and Lillie (Buffenbarger) Kyler.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Family Sciences from Purdue University and worked for the Department of Child Services as a Legal Clerk before retiring after 37 years.
She was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Fort Wayne Sport Club and enjoyed flowers, owls, amber glass and garage sales.
“Marty collected life and celebrated it”. Surviving family includes her son, Kenneth R. White, Jnr. of Fort Wayne; daughters, Kathleen (Jason) Dunfee and Kerry White, both of Fort Wayne; brother, Joe D. Kyler of Fort Wayne; and one granddaughter, Brianna Dunfee. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Kenneth R. White, Sr.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, at Advantage Funeral Home, 2403 E. Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
