Mary Lou Pelfrey, born June 27, 1942 in Miami, Fla., died Sept. 1, 2013, at her home in Lake City, Fla. following a lengthy illness.
She had lived in Bridgewater, N.Y., Columbia City, and West Palm Beach, Fla.
Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband Walter D. Pelfrey and loving son, Guy K. Pelfrey, both of Lake City, Fla.; sisters, Patricia McArthur of Lake City, Fla., Wanda Genes (Harry) of Sioux City, S.D., and Sandra Stavedahl (Terry) of Belleview, Fla.; two stepsons, Chip Pelfrey and Dale Pelfrey of Palm Beach, Fla.; stepdaughter, Debbie Ming of Cassville, N.Y. and several beloved nieces and nephews within the families.
Mary Lou was an avid camper and had been a member of The Little Turtle Camp Club in Columbia City. She loved arts, crafts and gatherings with family and friends.
The family of Mary Lou Pelfrey wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the loving thoughts and prayers of her many friends and family. She loved you all.
At her request there will be no ceremony. She wants to be remembered the way you knew her.
