Mary Raber students get ‘poetic’ lesson

COLUMBIA CITY – Poetry came alive at Mary Raber Elementary School Wednesday morning when Valerie Chamness and Joshua Daniels performed verbal acrobatics during a student convocation.
The married couple from Asheville, N.C., visited MRES with their “Poetry Alive,” production. They have traveled around the world and the United States sharing poems in a way that most children and teachers have never witnessed.
